Not feeling as creative as you'd like?

You're not alone! The truth is that we're all creative,
but
fear and conditioning hold us back.

We're afraid that what we create will not be good enough,
or that we'll be judged.

And let's face it; creativity is often frowned upon in our culture. Add to that the daily distractions of tv, the laundry, the internet, kids...
no wonder we have a hard time being creative!

Whether you are a blocked artist, an artist who wants to take your creativity to the next level, or someone who just wishes they
could be more creative, this course is for you.

Every child is an artist.
The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.

The Artist's Way+Art Journaling is a powerful course that can help you remove the obstacles that block your creative energy.

"I love that the class has made me feel more free to pursue hobbies and art projects, and not feel like I'm "wasting" valuable time. I now feel that spending time on those things is valuable to my soul." - Amanda

"I've learned so much more about myself!! And have gained so many creative insights! I feel like new areas of my inner artist have opened up and I'm really excited! I can't wait to see what comes through me!!" - BJ

What you will get from this course:
  • Support - Going through the book with a group offers support and accountability that you can't get going it alone.
  • Private Online Group - we'll have our own private forum to discuss the book, our lives and to share our art!
  • Weekly Zoom calls to discuss the chapter and work on an art journal project.
  • New thought - Group discussions lead to fresh new thoughts and ideas that you probably would not have gotten to on your own.
  • Understanding - Talking about your trials makes you realize that you're not alone.
  • eCourse Materials - The eCourse portion of the class will help keep you organized and on track. Each week there's a printable PDF with the week's exercises, and other goodies

This does require a commitment of time and energy - and it is worth it. You will need to carve out at least 30 minutes a day - and an additional 30-60 minutes once or twice a week. So we're looking at 5-6 hours a week in addition to the Sunday classes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I miss classes?
Yes, of course! Life is busy, and things come up. If you have to miss a class or two, I just ask that you read the chapter and do the homework.

Is this an art class?
Yes and no. We do art in the class, but it's not an instructional class. You will receive guidance and prompts for your art journal exercises, but no formal instruction.

I've never painted, can I still join?
Sure! You don't need any experience painting, but you do need to be open-minded about exploring your art supplies. Email me after signing up if you're nervous about the painting part. Or sign up for a class, Freestyle Session, or private lesson to get a jump-start.
