Volunteer/Internship Program

Landt Creative Space is now offering volunteer opportunities and internships for people who want to be more involved in the art community, have a limited budget, and/or simply want to give back to the community.
 
As a volunteer, you will learn more about the working side of an art business with hands-on experience in many aspects of running an art studio. This is not a paid position, but you will be able to attend some classes. If you are a student, you may be able to get college credit for your internship.

Internships require 3-5 hours per week, with a three month commitment.

To be eligible for the Painting Soiree Internship program you must:

  • Be an artist, aspire to be an artist, or just have a passion for art.
  • Be able to commit to 3-5 hours a week for three months
  • Be dependable
  • Have good communication skills, written and oral.
  • Be able to lift 20 pounds, carry things up and down stairs, and go up and down a step-ladder (for class and studio volunteers).

Take pictures during classes
Help clean up after class (washing brushes etc)
Studio Intern
Gesso canvases
Light cleaning
Spackle walls
Paint walls
Take out trash
Move furniture around in prep for art shows and classes
Marketing/Office Intern
Data entry
Website updates
Social media updates
Placing ads online
