I've never painted before... can I take a class?
Of course! My classes are open to all levels of painters - even those who have never picked up a paint brush. I do my best to foster a safe, nurturing environment. Beginners are welcomed with open arms!
Where are the classes held?
We're at 1528 Teller St in Lakewood, CO. More info and directions here.
How many people are in a class?
Generally there are 6 to 10 people, and we max it out at 12 (depending on the class.) Classes can fill up quickly, or get canceled due to low enrollment, so register early!
What is the parking like?
There is a parking lot right outside our door!.
What should I wear?
We provide aprons, but it's a good idea to wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting paint on, just in case.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Yes! We are now on the ground floor, and are wheelchair accessible.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that things come up, and appreciate as much notice as possible. If you need to cancel we cannot give you a refund, but would happy to give you credit towards another workshop if you notify us at least 24 hours before the class is scheduled to start.
Cancellations within 24 hours of class time receive 50% credit towards another class.
If you purchased your class on CourseHorse, then our cancellation policy applies to your purchase. If you need help cancelling or have any questions, please visit CourseHorse.
What time should I arrive, and how long are the classes?
We unlock the door a half hour before the class starts. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early, to allow time to check in and get settled.
Most classes are scheduled for 2 hours, but can end a bit early or late depending on the painting and the number of students.
Do I have to bring my own supplies?
No! We provide an apron, canvas, paints, brushes and and easel - everything you need!
However, if you bring your own supplies, you save the materials fee (for most classes)! Just use the discount code SUPPLIES on the registration page.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
The minimum age to register is 10, and the child must be with a paid adult, and comfortable in a class full of adults.
Can I have a private Painting Soiree for just my friends and I?
